We plan and carry out moves from other providers into the data centres we operate. Your services stay online while data is copied, tested and switched over.
What is included
- Inventory
- We document servers, applications, databases, DNS records, mail flows and scheduled jobs.
- Target design
- We match each workload to a server size and network layout in the new environment.
- Test copy
- A full copy runs in the new environment so you can check it before the switch.
- Data sync
- Files and databases stay in sync until the switch, using replication where the stack supports it.
- DNS cutover
- We lower TTLs in advance and switch records in an agreed window.
- Rollback plan
- The old environment stays as it is until you approve the move, so we can switch back if needed.

Assessment. We list the current setup and find risks and dependencies.

Questions
Will there be downtime?
Most moves have no visible downtime. Systems that take live writes, such as shops, may need a short read-only window of 15 minutes, which we schedule with you.
What access do you need?
Read access to the current servers, the DNS zone and any control panels. The plan lists the exact requirements.
When should we cancel the old provider?
After you approve the move. Keep the old environment running until the stabilisation period ends.
Do you move email too?
Yes, either inside this plan or as a separate email migration. Mailboxes are copied over IMAP and kept in sync until the MX records change.
