APIs your partners and applications can rely on
We design, build and run REST and GraphQL APIs on our own Linux infrastructure. Each API ships with authentication, versioning, rate limits and documentation from the first release.
What is included
- API design
- We agree resources, fields and error formats with you before any code is written.
- REST and GraphQL
- We pick the style that suits your consumers, or provide both over one data layer.
- Authentication
- API keys, OAuth 2.0 or signed tokens, with scopes per client.
- Versioning
- Changes go out under clear versions, and old versions get a published retirement date.
- Rate limits and quotas
- Per-client limits protect your systems and are reported in response headers.
- Documentation
- An OpenAPI or GraphQL schema reference with examples, kept in step with each release.
How it works
Discovery. We list who will call the API, what data they need and what limits apply.
What you receiveA short scope document with endpoints and access rules.
Contract. We write the API specification and agree it with your team.
What you receiveA reviewed OpenAPI or GraphQL schema that client developers can start from.
Build and test. We implement the API with automated tests for every endpoint.
What you receiveA staging environment and test credentials.
Release and run. We deploy to production with logging, metrics and alerts.
What you receiveProduction access, documentation and a monitoring summary.
Right for you if
Partners or customers ask for direct access to your data.
Your mobile or web app needs a stable backend API.
Your current API has no versioning, limits or documentation.
Questions
REST or GraphQL?
REST suits most public and partner APIs because it is simple to cache and document. GraphQL helps when clients need flexible queries across related data.
Who hosts the API?
We host it on our own Linux servers in EU data centres. We can also deploy to your infrastructure if you prefer.
How long does a first version take?
A focused API with a few resources usually takes about 4 to 6 weeks. We confirm the estimate after discovery.
Can you take over an existing API?
Yes. We review the code and add tests and documentation before we make any changes.
