Questions
How much downtime should we expect?
It depends on data volume and the target system. Rehearsals give a measured figure before you choose the cut-over date.
What happens to data that does not fit the new system?
We agree a rule for each case: transform it, archive it or leave it behind. All exceptions are listed in a report.
Can we go back if something is wrong?
Yes. The cut-over plan includes rollback steps and the conditions that trigger them.
Is the data safe during the move?
Transfers are encrypted and run on our European infrastructure. Temporary copies are deleted after sign-off.
